Hibernians

Formed in 1879 in the St Joseph's Parish, Dundee. Perhaps the first notable Irish club in the city. Their invitation to a game of football to the young men of the St Andrew's Parish prompted the formation of the legendary Harp. The club stuck around long enough to play in the Forfarshire Cup and were entrants in the Scottish Cup in the early 1880s.
